2006 MADC SCHEDULE FORM

The "Local" MADC Schedule will be open to all tournaments run throughout 2006 and located in the MADC Region (DE, MD, NJ, SE NY, and PA).
MADC will implement the 30/50 collection model. It works like this; the MADC will collect $30 if you would like to post one tournament on the MADC Schedule. For $50, your course can post as many disc golf events as you would like on the MADC Schedule. Your events will then be included on the "Local" MADC Schedule. That's it. You pay either $30 or $50. This new approach eliminates the $1 per player per event collection model. Clubs are free to still collect their "MADC tax" if they choose, but the 30/50 model will eliminate the constant tug-of-war between MADC Officers and MADC TDs. For most, this flat fee will still cost less than collecting a dollar per player.
Since the "Local" schedule has been and will continue to be the cornerstone of the MADC Schedule, any and all MADC tournaments are eligible for inclusion on the schedule (given that each course pays their $30 or $50). Since this is a "Local" schedule, scheduling conflicts must be addressed by the Tournament Directors themselves, which will hopefully lead to an amiable conclusion. There will not be a 50-mile radius limit on events.
"Local" standards are quite simple, pay the $30 or $50 per course/club and help sell discs and t-shirts! There will be no formal disc sales requirements, but we are hoping that if we provide great artwork on great discs at a great price, our MADC TDs will sell as many as they can.
The goal of the 2006 MADC "Local" schedule is to re-institute the community "honor system" that formed the spirit of the MADC when it was founded. We are once again putting the power back into the local course/club organizers hands by lower the expectations/requirements, and to let the local courses do what they think is right.
Deadline for sending your Course 2006 "Local" Schedule Fee into the MADC is: January 14, 2006. Inclusion on MADC "Local" Schedule after January 2006 will be $70.
